Seasons of Love Cancelled for now - stay tuned for the new term!

We are apologizing about cancelling our dinner theater for June 8th. Cabaret 2013 had to be rescheduled for the new term - TBD.
The reason is a decision of our Serbian Circle of Sisters. They are mourning for their long term member and a very important person from their own group, Protinica Todora Trbovic, who just passed away. Rest in peace Protinica.

We are sorry about it, but we all feel that Cabaret should be rescheduled.
For people who paid on line, we are going to give you a full refund.
Thanks for understanding. Stay tuned!

Previous event:
Music of the Slavs Concert!

We have succesfuly performed the gala concert  on March 8th, 7:30p.m in Camelback Bible Church, in Paradise Valley, AZ:

Tchaikovsky. Rachmaninoff. Dvorak. Rimsky-Korsakov. Borodin.
These great composers have given the world wonderful music that’s rarely performed.

On this special evening, we have featured professionals from the local opera companies who presented music by these and other composers. It was a joy to listen the variety of rich harmonies of Orthodox spiritual music, soaring opera arias, expressive art songs and spirited folk arrangements.

The program included sacred selections from Tchaikovsky's Liturgy and Rachmaninoff's All Night Vigil, arias from Dvorak's Rusalka,  Borodin's Prince Igor, Tchaikovsky's Queen of Spades and Eugene Onegin, and Rimsky-Korsakov's  Sadko; art songs from Rachmaninoff, Glinka, Tchaikovsky and Bartok, and lovely Russian folk songs! Everything was sung in the original language with translations and context provided.
Performers are The Riznica Octet and Soloists:
Alexis Davis, mezzo soprano

We sang our Romanian treasure repertoire and were accepted greatly from the full house of mostly ethnic Romanian audience. Great job Riznica!
